AAAAAAAND I'M BACK!!!!

I realize it's been FOREVER since I've updated this thing...time sure does fly when you're having fun. Don't even know where to begin... except to say that I STILL need to pick up my new bike from Tome and Alli's!!! :)

Got a call from Tome today... he wanted to see if I still wanted their Shwinn Breeze! Ummmmm, YES PLEASE!!! I have had my eye on that bike for years!!! So SO SO excited!!! Here is a picture of a breeze. This isn't the one I will be getting but pretty darn close... same color blue and all!!! YAY... so excited for my new bike! Nothing makes me happier than a vintage schwinn!!! :)

Haaaappy Birthday America... and Van Graw!!!!

4th of July and the Graw's annual pancake breakfast to celebrate Van's bday. He turned 5 this year! One of my very favorite traditions... Graw's pancake breakfast. The go all out every year... pancakes, eggs, fruit, bacon, mimosas, kegs, a bouncy, necklaces, flags, friends, dogs, etc etc etc... a fun gathering for all ages!!!
This is Van on the right with his brother Marty... yes, his name is Marty Graw!!!

Baldocchi moving day!!!

Official moving day is today!!!! Baldocchi's are moving to a fabulous new home on chestnut in manhattan beach. I went and checked out the new pad a couple days ago. Cutest neighborhood, great backyard and although it needs some work, it is going to be a perfect home her family. After she tears some walls down, paints, extends some hallways and updates the bathrooms and kitchen, it is going to look perfect!!! For those of you that don't know, Alli has an amazing talent for decorating and putting things together... I can't wait for all the memories to come in the new Baldocchi home.

Here are some "before" pics... I thought I took one of the front but I guess I didn't? Going over there tomorrow so I will be sure to get one! But for now...

BEST feature of the house... no, it's not a water heater... this is the DOORBELL!!! About 1ft by 1/2ft, mounted to the wall... a new song is played each time someone rings the doorbell... Classic!!!

another weekend, another vball tourney!

SUMMER SOLSTICE... annual vball tourney, 8th annual to be exact!!! Oh what a fun, long, drunk, HOT day it was!!! This year marked my third year playing in the tournament... I won my first year with Tome, Aaron Boss and Chris Barry. Such a fun year.

This year we didn't make it past pool play but it was super fun. Andrew Igloi, Nick Christenson and Manny (el guapo) were on my team.

Cade turns 9... yes 9

I can't believe that Cade is 9!!! His bday was June 10th... can I have enough Gemini people in my life???? FYI, he won the State Championship for handwriting. Of over 5,000 kids from grades 1-8, he won!!! Happy belated bday to my type A, perfectionist, most athletic, sweetest 9 year old nephew. There is no doubt that he is my sister's child!!!

Four nephews later... I got my girl!!! My brother Doug and his wife Stacie had a baby girl, Scotti Rae, on June 8th. She was 6lbs, 11oz and is the absolute most tiny precious little muffin of a baby ever.

memorial day weekend!!!!!!

Memorial Day Weekend:

Friday night dinner at the Baldocchis.... ate tacos and watched the Lakers win!!! :) Love my Fridays with Alli, Tome and the boys!!!

Saturday: started out with a light drizzle but stuck it out and ended up playing in an ace tournament at 29th street in Hermosa. So so so much fun, new friends, wayyyyyyyyy too many beers but best time!!! Entire tourney migrated to Critters after then I somehow managed to get over to Shellback. Crazy day and night but just a blast!!!

Sunday I played in the GREG ACK MEMORIAL tournament at 16th street. Lots of fun, volley, cocktails, etc etc.... Ended the night shaking what my mama gave me at Sangria till about midnight then called it a night. Other than the Lakers loss, it was a perfect day.

Sunday was "Mom's Day"... we BBQ'd at my mom's house on 4th street. Compton's, Martin's, Dyer's, Leoff's, Jason and Leslie, Doug, Stac and Ozzy, my Grams, mom of course and me!!! It was a fun family affair as always!!!

Just wanted to recognize Mother's Day and my mom... she drives me crazy but she truly is THE BEST...

Icaza Wedding

Last night I went to Ish and Dana's wedding... hands down one of the funnest weddings I have ever been to. The ceremony took place on the beach at 5th street in MB with a mariachi band playing to greet the guests. Everyone headed to Sangria for the reception where we all danced and danced and danced for about five hours straight! It was a blast!!!!

so I just turned 31 five days ago and I went out with Sara and Lu for a late birthday celebration!!! We were talking blogs, blah blah... and since they do it, I figured why not jump on board. So here I am. 31 and blogging!!! I figure what a better way to keep track of the people, events, happenings, etc. in my life than through this blog.
